U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Judge Mukasey later became the Attorney Generalof the United States.
I began my career as a litigator at Davis, Polk & Wardwell on Wall Street. At Davis Polk, I represented Fortune 50 companies in merger & acquisition and securities litigation and prepared some of their most senior executives to testify in cases with hundreds of millions of dollars at stake.
I learned firsthand how these pioneering companies have become so successful in the Internet Age.
I then became in-house counsel for NBC Universal in Los Angeles, one of the world’s largest media companies, where I represented and prepared the company’s top leaders in major litigation matters.

In the seven years I practiced at Davis Polk I never used a deposition-prep video. In fact, I would have been (West LegalEdCenter, June 22, 2009)
skeptical of any suggestion that I should use one.
Once I became in-house counsel at NBC Universal, I was required to use one for every witness whose deposition I defended. Doing so opened my eyes – in a big way.
I was amazed at how much better my clients performed in their depositions after having viewed the training
program.Click Here!
It brought to life all the fundamentals I had covered with them, and then drove them home.
My clients could see witnesses testifying the right way – and the wrong way.
They experienced what their depositions would look, sound and feel like. And they could see the harsh consequences of getting it wrong.
As soon as my witnesses saw the proper method – being very narrow and specific – as opposed to just hearing it from me, it ALL CLICKED.
Once I saw that, I set out to develop a system to train deponents to be the perfect witness every time. Click Here! With feedback from my legal mentors and colleagues, I firmly believe I’ve done that with
